Chocolate Protein Pudding

This 3-ingredient base recipe is one of my simplest yet! I cannot explain how easy it is. It makes the perfect breakfast, snack or dessert. I often have this as a great pre-workout snack. The flavours are so versatile and you can really make this with your own twist. Simply dress it up with toppings of your choice and dig in.

Ingredients

For the chocolate protein base
  • 1 Tsp Agar agar
  • 250 ml Dairy-free milk I use coconut or almond
  • 30 Grams Chocolate protein powder
  • 2 Tbsp Raspberry puree/sauce Optional
For the toppings
  • Chocolate sauce
  • 1 Chocolate raspberry nakd bar
  • 1 Handful Frozen raspberries

Equipment

  • Hob
  • Saucepan
  • Spatula/mixing spoon
  • Fridge
  • Bowl

Method

  1. Fill a bowl with cold water and put aside (this is important as it will stop the protein pudding from sticking)
  2. On a medium-high heat, gently heat the milk in a saucepan (stirring intermittantly so it doesn't burn)
  3. Once the milk is warmed, add the agar agar and stir in
  4. Remove the saucepan from the hob and mix in the protein powder and optional raspberry puree/sauce until fully combined in a liquid mixture
  5. Discard the water from the bowl and immediately pour the protein pudding mixture into the bowl
  6. Pop into the fridge for at least 2 hours (I leave mine overnight for best results) to set completely
  7. In the morning, flip the pudding out of the bowl onto a plate and decorate (you may need to use a spatula to gently release the pudding from the sides of the bowl)
  8. Enjoy!
